Hey dtt how is the ipod intergation on th new 200? sound etc and you use the functions etc? Also did you ever measure the wheel well?

Well I use the aux jack with the other end coming out of the headphone jack of the ipod.

The sound system is very good for a stock system.

Don't forget that I had a very large and custom systen in my previous car, my acura. So I am used to something completly different.

thanks but it does work with the steering wheel control right? i seen in show pics that an ipod was hooked up on the lx just wanted to know it the lc has the same availabilty

Never tried it with the wheel buttons. I will try later and report back...

does it work or not?

does it work or not?

No need to be pissy...people get busy. :flipoff2:

Anyway...neither the steering wheel controls nor the buttons on the actual radio effect the ipod plugged into the AUX jack.

I would be very surprised if it did, to be honest.

I have never had a car with a AUX jack that had ipod controls.

Do the older LC's have that ability?

wow from all the photos of the car shows i have seen have the ipod plugged in their so i assumed (yes i know what assume means) it would work. No offense are you sure it does not affect the ipod??? I find it hard to believe they would put a unit in there that does not have this capability this day and age; with all the blue tooth etc stuff

I am positive. All the LC has (like most autos) is a AUX jack which is just a headphone jack. So I just have a headphone cable going from the headphone jack form the ipod to the AUX jack...simple as that.

There are adapter you can purchase to make things work like that...but not in a stock auto.

iPod control will not work via a Aux Jack. It would need a dedicated iPod connector and the software/control buttons to match. iPod control does not happen via the headphone jack.
