I am having problems transferring my phonebook to the Nav unit.
From the internet search, it looks like a system (toyota -wide) problem. Anyone here with suggestions? (no. I am not buying a new phone)

That stuff has never worked for me....I dont even bother anymore!

Transfer is simple if you have a blackberry, Treo, just about anything but an iPhone. Its almost seamless with non-iphone cells. The navigation system and the phone function on the Toyota and Lexus are non-intuitive. Without the phonebook, it is very cumbersome to setup the speed dial. Without the speed dial, you need to use the cell phone (illegal in some states) or voice command (try this with two crying kids). As noted on the other thread, I can't wait to unlock my nav and phone so that i can dial and input information without having to stop the vehicle.

I live in Californiastan and just use my bluetooth headset.....

How are you liking your nittos so far? How well do they do on the highway at 75mph and how are they in the wet snow we get her in Liberalfornia? I go to squaw often during the winter for skiing and want to feel comfortable taking some back roads when iam not skiing. Also thinking about toyo open country a/t. My truck is still stock and should be able to use 285/65/18.

I'm missing the connection between tires and the iphone phonebook transfer....
