I'm happy to report that this Friday I will be going to Atlanta to pick up my " new to me " 1996 FZJ80 / LX450... immediately thereafter my Rubicon will be for sale... The 80 was built up and maintained by Atlanta Custom Creations. I have always done my own work and can tackle just about anything except rear ends, tranny tear downs, etc, you know, the big stuff... This cruiser has 203k on the clock, burns no oil, has no leaks... I've garnered from many sources that the head will need to be reworked, somewhere between now and 300k.. I'm located near Reading and want to take it to a knowledgable shop for a complete going over, build a relationship, and eventually use that shop for any " major " repairs.. So, I'm looking for advise on this.. Thanks.
