Just joined the forum to try and learn more.
I have wanted a 60 or 62 LC for some time but do not have one as yet.
I would be most appreciative if folks could provide recommendations for someone to do restoration work.
I am more interested in someone shoring up if you will rather than modernizing a series 60 or 62 (though I can be prone to mission creep when it comes to these things). Perhaps ideally for me this same source would find a base vehicle as well.
I have of course googled and seen some prices (ex 250 k) that are way above what I would want or be able to pay. I also have no way to know or verify the quality of the work on some of the big names that come up on an internet search, though I in now way am implying any of these companies do not do great restorations.
I am in New Mexico fwiw.
Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

My advice would be to find a vehicle that doesn’t need to be restored.
Yeah it’ll cost more than a rust bucket to buy at first but paying someone to restore these old relics will cost a lot more.

There’s plenty of good ones under $30K ready to drive, not needing restoration.

Thanks very much for the replies. I’ll check out the local forum.
Obviously classifieds here would be a place to look. BaT I guess as well. The main online car buying sites don’t seem to have many—any other places I should be looking?
If I were to look for one that had been restored or to have one restored, are there places anyone would recommend I check out?
