Hi, all.
Any ideas about this problem?
While driving tonight, all my instrument cluster lights failed.
Also, the fuel, oil pressure, temp and charge gauges failed.
The warning lights, along the bottom of the dash, ABS etc. still work.
The centre console lights still work.
About an hour later, the fuel light came on steadily. ( plenty of fuel in it ).
Would greatly appreciate any help!

Once a similar thing happened to my 99 and it was the trailer lights control box. Easy to unplug and confirm. Good luck.

Check to see if your exterior running lights are working. The ones between the headlights and the turn signals. If not check the fuse, these lights are on the same fuse as the dash lights.

Have you had the instrument cluster out? Could be a loose connection on cluster if so.

Thanks, for the reply!
Do you mean the parking lights?
Cheers.

Note: I do assume that checking fuses is the 1st go to. And you may have done that 1st. There is a “gauge” fuse in the driver kick panel. I blew it twice on a recent trailer plug wiring by trial and error.

Thanks again guys, for your responses.
It has all come alive, again! All the lights and gauges started working,
except for the fuel gauge ( and low fuel warning light ).
Knowing there was plenty of fuel in it ( barring a severe fuel leak ), I filled it up.
It didn’t take much fuel to fill it up and the fuel gauge started to work again, and the light went out, too.
Regarding checking the fuses, I had checked the fuses in the engine compartment
but didn’t realise there were more fuses in the footwell!
So, must have been a bad connection somewhere but I’ll leave well enough alone, now!
Cheers, guys!
