I am ready to take the plunge and install a set of ARB air lockers on my FJ40. Does anyone have any words or wisdom before i jump in and start? It seems like a fairly easy but time consuming procedure. What is the best compressor to use?

Use ARB compressor. It is enough for the lockers and healthy for the O-rings in the lockers. Make 200% sure that when you install the O-rings they are NOT twisted by any means. Use some oil on'em before installation. After drilling the hole in your 3rd member when you start to install the air nipple in there with the air hose, make sure you tighten the bottom nut and not both top and bottom nuts. You may have to hold the top nut with a wrench (maybe 12mm) and tighten the bottom nut (may be 10mm). Although they are two sizes of nuts but if by chance you start tightening them together, you may strip the threads.

These are some of things that I paid attention to when Lance was installing mine so I thought I'd pass it on...

Good luck
