IMPORTANT YELLOWSTONE UPDATE - LETTER GENERATOR UPLOADED!

Dear Action Alert Subscribers,

As Jack Welch noted in his most recent article, "Yellowstone - Why We Fight", the recent studies from the National Park Service shows that that claims made by the radical anti-snowmobiling groups were vastly overstated.

I think Jack is being nice. I might have used the term "completely made up" !!!!

Anyway, the new studies have placed snowmobilers in a much better position for this round of the Yellowstone snowmobile plan.

Also, this is the early stage of planning, called "Scoping." At its most basic, Scoping is all about issues and Alternatives. Public comments sent in during this early stage are very important.

In the comment suggestions we formulated for our action alert we focused on the fact that the new studies show the need to develop at least one snowmobile friendly alternative in this plan. After review and edit of those suggestions and further review of agency planning documents, Jack asked us to upload a letter generator.

Sadly, another reason Jack asked us to upload a letter generator is that the Park Service website is notoriously hard to navigate and often offline.

Whether you decide to use the Park Service website or our letter generator, please be sure to get them in by March 30, 2010. Click Here to use BRC's letter generator. It has an easy interface for adding additional comments and sending your letter.

Thanks in advance for your effort!
