Is it common on the 1.6 to the valves to be ajusted, the seller sayes its pecking, and im just wondering. i know the corollas are a solid car, so i am taking the sale to serious.

got a 95 corolla and heard nothing with valve problems. Unfortunately I don't know any good corolla forums because I never had major problems with the car.Almost everything is original up to the exhaust system except the starter in 120k miles.A corolla owner friend of mine mentioned motor/regulator problems with the passenger side window. try looking here www.carsurvey.org ,Bump.
