Has anyone managed to move a rear axle from a 99 model LX to a 02 LC?

I know about the brake line differences. The 02 LC has all new rear brake lines (flex and steel) that I could move.

The LX does have a working LSD unit. Though I doubt that it would get much use on the LC.

The LX axle and emergency brake hardware are all new.

The bearings and everything about the LX axle are in pristine condition.

Everything about the LC rear axle needs to be replaced.

Any resson that I would not want to move the rear axke and everything from this LX picture to an LC that needs everything replaced.

I’d move it, Craig. It’ll be less work, I think, although you may have to fab a bracket. I don’t remember if they’re all bolt on.

I don't see the line brackets as being a hard job. I know some customizers that have solved the problem using different OTS resources.

I chuckled at the Oldsmobile solution. Looks like a 12-bolt posi-trac conversion about to happen.
