Well, I went out today to purchase a new battery for my wifes vw golf and decided to get a optima red top. I get it home and low and behold, it wont fit! 
So, I decide that perhaps I should just put it in my beast (cruiser) and put her battery back in. Oh yes, there was nothing wrong with her battery, just had lots of corrosion on the termanals. I cleaned it all off, put some of that lube stuff to keep it from corroding again and slapped it back together. All good to go. Long story short, I scored a new red top!!
Now, if I get my lazy ass to put in my second batter crap together I will score another optima.......yellow this time.
