Speaking of Truckhaven, on the way out to Indio last Saturday, I got my wife to drive Culp Vally, the Calcite trail up to the mine, down into Palm Wash, and up a fun, rocky, narrow wash back to the road. This was the same wash a group of us did earlier in the year.

BTW: Steve, I can see how the last part is passable around that boulder. However, the :princess:wasn't going to try!

Hey Mo! Welcome Back :D

Honestly I'm waiting to see what else might come up for Sat. I want to do a moderate to difficult run and the only run currently slated is the one running the squeeze. There lies my dillema, go on that run and have to turn around at the squeeze if I don't think I'll make it or do I take the chance? I'm usually pretty "chance-ee" but I don't know. I know there are others who will want to do similar runs as me (like Reid) so I'm just waiting patiently to decide:cool:

Edit: the majority of those going are in FJC's which are only 1.4 inches narrower than me. I have seen the video of the FJC making it through the squeeze so I definately think it is possible for me as well. However, I'm also hoping that some of those FJC owners that don't want to take a chance on marring up their high dollar rides may want a little something more challenging as well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. There is a run I'd like to do but it's quite a drive. It's called "Knock-On-Wood" for those of you with the SoCal Guide to Backroads and 4WD Trails. It goes over a rocky area of Superstition Mountain.

A Coyote Canyon run just opened up. A little more difficult than canyon sin nombre..
