So today while driving to see a movie with a few friends, I spotted a 2013 TT pulling into an Office Depot parking lot. He was on the other side of a 4 lane road with a turning lane running down the center. It was around 1500 so traffic wasn't too too bad.

Once I spotted it I said "I must meet him", told my friends to "hang on, sh!t just got real" and did some evasive maneuvers that I picked up from a few Star Trek movies.

After some very questionable driving, I pulled into a parking lot a few parking lots past Office Depot. I saw the driver of the TT getting out and knew I needed to hurry up. I had no choice but to drive over a few parking blocks, grass separations and some curbs and maybe a few people...not sure about the last part.

While crossing the last curb/grassy separation between the Office Depot and the parking lot I was in, I started honking the horn. He didn't hear me and I saw him walk inside the store.

I parked next to his vehicle, got out, took a picture of our 2 FJ's together (something to remember them by because I might be going to jail for my actions) and walked inside to find the man in the orange shirt I saw exit the TT.

I introduced myself and we hit it off (altho, I think he was alittle freaked out). He was an older gentleman who picked up his TT on Saturday. He was very surprised to have been "hunted down" by another FJ owner.

He came outside and check my FJ out, he even took a few pictures of stuff he saw on my rig that he liked.

We exchanged phone numbers and he was interested in doing a M&G with other owners in the area.

All in all, it paid off. Looking back though, in glad he didn't hear me honking and driving over stuff that was clear meant to not be drivin on.

Thought I'd share my little adventure with you guys. No pictures (evidence) of the urban wheeling, but I do have the picture of our 2 rigs.

**Once I get the date, time and location for the M&G, I'll update the thread.**

Here's the picture. It wouldn't let me upload it when I started the thread.

Good work Baker I got a good laugh out of that post because when we first started the club I was equally as excited and would chase down folks to give them a card. I'm sure a few here could testify to that story. I scared one woman bad enough she wouldn't roll down the window to hear what I had to say but I can certainly understand why she didn't. I applaud your enthusiasm  You can also share with him our meetings will be kicking off Feb 17th, I'm working on getting schedules and events in Facebook, here in our corner of MUD and the website hopefully by the end of the week :)

Thank you sir. I'm about 1 for 5 now when not creeping FJ owners out when I chase them down. I'll take those odds. lol.

I happy to hear the meeting is Feb 17th, that means I can make it. Once I give Chip a ring, I'll let him know. I'll also let Robert know.

I'm using the "wait to call a girl rule". Since I met him yesterday, I'll give it 3 days before I call. I don't want to seem to anxious. lol

Yes....good idea Baker.....because mowing down shopping carts, curbs and grandma in the parking lot sure didn't do it.
