I was looking something under the hood, when I realized that one horn was missng!

I can't imagine how or when this happened. The metal tab is broken, so it has to have fallen at some moment, but there seems to be no damage to the radiator. Strange.

Too much jumping....;p

Yeah, that was my first thought too :D But in that case, there should be some evidence of the bouncing inside, shouldn't it?

Your Horns are different than mine. Do Euro-Spec trucks have different horn tones than US-Spec trucks?

If it was OEM then you aren't missing much. Get some horns with "cojones". Do replace them as a matched set. The two horns are designed to complement each other and provide a broader spectrum of sound that is more likely to be heard when needed.

Obviously I'm not a horn honking type of guy :) I just saw that the remaining one isn't working. I'll take it off and try to repair it for curiosity, but I sure will replace both.
Anyway, I'll follow your advice and buy some macho man horns :D
BTW, just remembered this "sissy horns" thread:

i replaced my horns with PIAA SportHorns. They actually are the exact same denso horns, but my started to get old and sounded funky. I got the 400-500 frequency kit.

Bought the pair for less than the price of one horn from the lexus dealership.

You just needed a set of horns that could be heard over you stereo! :D

the 1loudLX is actually more about my intake/exhaust. It sounds like a freakin powerboat at full throttle. The sound system is actually low key, just JL Audio speakers and a small, 10" JL Audio W6 subwoofer.

But i do have another horn that will clear traffic. I wired it on a relay to my steering wheel horn button so i can switch it at will. I rarely use the stock horn as people dont pay attention to horns around here.
