thanks for those pics, when i installed the lift i did cut back on that skid p[late on the front axle, like in your last pic so thats not it.... and if it would ever stop raining i might be able to get out there and try to wrench on this damn thing.... those pics really help though, i have a much better idea of what to do now. thanks a ton! ill keep y'all updated on how it all turns out. seriously though thanks for all the help guys!!

also, check your front diff... that may be the grinding...
