Tech question, keep in mind I aint too bright....
Drivetrain from an 84 4 Runner, double cases, 4.7s in back. Literally overnight the front output shaft quit working. Other than driving around the yard it hasn't had any real use since the Ramble.
Rear works fine in any combo of ratios, front won't spin in any combo. There is absolutely no rattles, pops or grinding noises to be heard. With the rig in low, low I can spin the driveshaft with zero effort, no wobble or anything though.
Before I go tearing this thing apart I was hoping somebody might have an idea based on the symptoms.
