I am so proud of my boy. He officially started wreching on his own junk today. (Wiping tear) :D

He has been "helping" me work on the Cruiser but he took it upon himself to work on his old buggy. I honestly did not suggest or stage this in any way.

I was going to start a similar thread. I'll just piggy back this one.

YouTube - Luke's 1st ride

Yes, he dumped it behind the creosote bush.

Dude not only is that awesome, but look how big he is getting!

Shocks are Fischer Pricestein's and the tires are 12" Playskool Sandbox Terrians.

That is a cool video of Luke ripping it up. I can't wait to get Scotty going on his own off road ride.

I see him every day and I still can't get used to how big he is getting.

You have every right to be proud! I had a real good belly laugh out of that picture. Tell your son to keep up the good work!

It's kind of sobering, when you think about it -- our kids are watching us all the time (even when we think they aren't - my wife calls them "God's little spies"), and for the most part they really want to be just like us. Thinking about that helps me to try and remember to be a good example for them. Though my youngest is almost 14, I know he's still watching...

Take care,
JR

God's little spies. I like that. It is very humbling to be such a figure of importance in his life and shaping who we will become as a person. Cool though. :)

he was cutting off frame mounts for a bumper and looking to see if a slush box would fit I bet.

NExt photo: hookin up with the ladies in his newly wrenched on rig.

Thats just cool....

and the Gods little spies .... is right on.... they keep us straight.... because they see everything....

I have been reminded of that a few times with some, ahem, less than proper 4 letter words.

Ain't that the !@#$!$ truth!
