Bit of a long shot. I've been having trouble with my clutch slipping randomly and at times the pedal not returning to off position. The car has had a new clutch kit, master and slave cylinder and the pedal is set to factory specs.
Pulled the slave out this morning to check flexible hose for delamination and gunk in lines. When I got the car it appeared the clutch fluid had never been replaced and had a lot of fine dust in the system hence replacing master and slave.
I'm pretty sure this little plastic bit fell out when I pulled the slave cylinder boot off and I'm hoping someone could maybe identify it.
I work with a blue drop sheet that had just been laid down so pretty sure it wasn't caught up from the last job.
Any help would be really appreciated
