So did you have water in the cylinders? How did you clear it?

You need to get all the water out of the cylinders. If you already turned it over, and you didn't bend anything, then what I would do is pop the spark plugs out and spray everything down with WD-40. Turn over the engine a few times (will make a huge mess) and that should get a lot of the water out of the cylinders. You want to get the engine started and get it hot ASAP, else you are risking rust forming which will destroy your engine.

You'll need to disconnect every single electrical connector that got wet and make sure it's dry. If they corrode it will cause you grief 6+ months down the road. I would pack them all with dielectric grease after drying them.

You'll want to change all of your fluids (and I mean *ALL* of them) right away, then I would change them again 500 miles down the road.

If you really blew a seal (which I have a hard time seeing how you'd do that?) then you'll need to get that fixed.
