Hi
I bought fox 4" travel bumpstops, but I have no idea how many psi should I boost them. Car weights 1350kgs. If you are not able to tell me what pressure is ok, tell me please if bump stops should bound when I take the springs out, and put all weight of the car on them. If so, how many inches should they bound? Car reces in all kinds of terrain (mud, fast tracks simillar to dakar, rocks, and everything what you can find in the forest).
Thanks for help :)

I found this article, but have no idea what's the weight of his car.

My car weights about 3000lbs. Axle will be around 4 inches from the bump stop. Do you think that 150psi will be ok?

I have absolutely no experience with air bumps personally, but 150psi seems in the realm of a realistic starting point. I’m surprised they came with no documentation. Did you try talking to the manufacture and seeing what they recommend? I would go about tuning them the way I tune mt. bike suspension, Run rubber bands on the shaft and monitor travel used, and see how the feel. Trial and error till u get them dialed.

They came with documentation but fox gave only min. and max pressure and there is nothing about relation between pressure, inches of travel and weight of the car. I tryed to contact with Fox tech support, but there was no response. In Poland we have very few cars with this kind of bump stops, and all of them are way heavier than my car. I'll start with 150psi and see what happens - it seemce to be the only way.
