See attached pic, I actaully listed this saw on ebay today, its been sitting for 4 or five years.

The bar adjusting screw, pushed through the bar oil tank. It still runs, even after sitting for that time. I poured some fresh gas in it today and it fired up.

Anyway, I tried to fix the tank with some JB weld. It didn't last.

Any better ideas,

I looked into finding a new half of the crankcase, they are out there. For like 80.00 when you find one.

Its not money well spent in my opinon. A new saw is only a couple hundred more.

However I would pull the auction if I could come up with a good idea for patching the hole

Sure, do you think you have a used one?
I need more than just that part, it needs some trigger pieces,(spring) or something the one there seeems to be broken. And if you had a parts saw might need some other parts. The thing picture is pretty bent. I would like to find a better one.

Its odd, you came up at work this evening. Turns out the guy work for is looking for an Oil Tank for a Jonsered model 2054.

If you know of one for sale let me know condition and price  Please

Never mind on the Husky part, it sold on ebay to some dude down your way.
