I am in the process of painting a 40 and have a first time problem with the HT and windshield glass channels. If you rub your hand across them you get a black mess. I have tried cleaning with a detergent and rubbed down with enamel reducer. No good. So bad masking tape will not stick to the rubber. Any suggestions?
