how to access the towing....

sorry for the stupid question, but can anyone help with taking off the cover of the tow? can't seem to figure it out and don't want to break anything. i have a 2011 LC

On my '08 the cover has two wedge-type clips at the bottom that can be somewhat depressed to slide out of the bottom piece under the receiver. Once these are free, you can easily lift the cover off from the bumper trim. To reinstall, do this in reverse. Get up under and look and you can somewhat see the wedges to release them...

just pull from the bottom. i took mine off when i purchased the truck and it probably won't ever go back on. if you have a black truck and you break yours, let me know and i'll see if i can find where i put mine.

I broke mine when I first took it off...it subsequently went into the trash for that week.
