This is the excerpt from the email I got from one of my dads buddies today. He's had an FJ60 for the last couple years and apparently made friends with the owner of Rice Toyota in Greensboro. This ride is absolutely spotless and original, not restored. He just got it the other day.

"Land Cruiser fever struck again about 2 years ago
when I discovered Olive Oil while on a quail hunt in Virginia. The
prior owner is Garson Rice, owner of Rice Toyota in Greensboro. I told
him to give me first option if he ever decided to sell. Last month I
traded Rocinante my FJ60 for Olive Oil. Rides like half truck, half
tractor! Only 33 years old!"

If your in Charlotte you may see it rolling around the southpark area

VERY NICE!!!!!!! Love the color.

I was getting some parts over at Rice Toyota about a year ago and saw that 40 in the service area, the service manager said Garson stored it there. I went back and checked it out....pristine. I still have pics of it on my cell phone from that day.

I love that 40 :D looks like mine the day I got it. twins

I love that color on those trucks. My buddy Johnathan Tisdale owned a 77 and then had a 79 with factory power steering that were both that color when I was growing up. He was older than me and I blame him for getting me started on the cruisers...

wish he would have bought his chevelle instead... my taco got a lil lovin in the paint and body shop at Rice and that 40 was in the bay next door the day i dropped the ARB off. Its a nice one.

Wow! That'd be a daily driver for me. Very nice!
