Life is good here.
Last week's adventures consisted of driving my 40 over 850 miles to Moab and back.
I have not paid as much attention to the 40 as the Pig. She was down for several years for paint. She certainly looks good, but she has issues: Real time help: stranded in grand junction, CO - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/real-time-help-stranded-in-grand-junction-co.1336961/

So between family, work, side project at work (1/2F headers) and trying to sort out the 40, I have not spent much time in here. I am looking forward to catching up with y'all...

@scrapdaddy Scrapps, the elusive, wirery, mysterious, and rarely seen creature from da Missora woods! A Legend har in deez partz and known to wallor in da Mud and on Mud! Some say they've seen him 🤔🧐😯😳🐖👈 and some say day know him! I don't believe ether. He is more Elusive than BG 🦶, and thar is a lot less sightinns, mostly in Missora or a Flash "O" green on certain highwaze! I know fo a fact he's is a true Legend 😳😯🧐🤔😉😘🍺🍺. I've met him and Da Missus more than one time! Great peeps and will always be in me thoughts 😘 as others on here😘. Gnite me tired.

been busy around the home place.
Guess I’m not the only one then.
Lando is graduating HS and the Little Dove thought it would be a good idea to have a party for him, and his cousin who’s also graduating, here at the house. I tried to dissuade the idea because the back deck needs a ton of work and really isn’t ideal for crowds, and suggested we have the party somewhere else. As per usual, my suggestion was dismissed, and she opted for me to go ahead and work my ass off every weekend until May 24 to get it fixed. Needless to say, Cruiser fun has slowed, but still eeking out a little here and there just to keep up some progress.

Daughter is graduating this year up here too @RUSH55 , no deck party though.

Mrs & I did go up to help open the ranch for the year, had a good but brief 3 days with M&D up there. Lots planned for the ranch this year so will try to get back up in May for a full week.

While we were gone our 20yo son bought a 5th vehicle :bang: so I’m helping get it road worthy too.

Congrats! Big future plans?
How many more left in school?
She is the first on either side to be accepted to University so I’ll be finding out about all that I guess, proud of her!

That’s it, just the two kids, both living at home for the foreseeable future with the cost of living here these days 💸

My 21 son has our old farm truck that was actually quite nice before he got a hold of it. Big tires, lifted screwed up everything. Half ass delete job. All the work done by himself and his cousin. First set of tires wore horribly in all the different areas. I just spent couple grand fixing everything, got him good tune up and said good luck. Even though your in school, you tear this up and you can ride a bike!

Yeah, my area is out of control. Very glad I’m not looking for a house to buy, but dismayed at what my boys get to look forward to when they go to look for a place 😔. Guess they’ll figure it out when the time comes.
I honestly don’t have a clue how any kids can buy a livable house these days. I wouldn’t be surprised one set of kids will be living on farm with us in house we built the parents.
Wife and I bought house she lived in growing up for $59,000 28 years ago. The prices I’m seeing these days is beyond stupid and cost of living prevents kids from being able to save a reasonable down payment.

I’m sure many of you all have deleted trucks. I deleted my 2015 GMC 2500 last week. Almost like a brand new truck minus the 170k miles. I’ve gone through one full tank and getting 4.5 mpg more than before.

If anyone considering it I’m a believer. Feared it would smoke and be loud and not at all. Can’t wait to do little towing with it in next couple weeks.

Wasn’t beer invented by monks? Seems legit.
