this applies to hotmail users, and possibly to other web-based email users as well.
Hotmail automatically assume that emails sent "automatically" from a server are to be discarded or tagged for the spambox. If you've done the reminder feature and received nothing, there are two options:
1> (this one works for sure)...add ih8mud.com to your list of trusted websites within the Hotmail system. This will allow emails from ih8mud to flow thru correctly to your inbox.
2> (untested, but outta work)...simply go thru your spam/delete box immediately after performing the password reminder...the emails come thru almost immediately, and it should be easy to catch.
I suspect this same process will work for users having problems with Yahoo or other online accounts.
I know many forums don't allow web-based emails to register at all...I'd prefer to avoid taking that action, so hopefully this procedure will solve direct requests regarding "why can't I get my password"
