At 6'9" I don't fit in a Subaru, unless my knees are by my ears.

Hmmmm....a Cruiser is probably not for you then. Leg room is not something the Japanese made a priority for the model. I can't offer anything on the Ridgeline except that I laugh every time I see a guy driving one.:meh:

Then you will ROFL when you see me driving the Honda Odyssey.... not alot of offroading here but want a fun and reliable second car/suv that can haul my family and whatever else I throw at it. Considering the sequoia as well.

Depends on what you will use the vehicle for? Sequoia and Ridgeline are two significantly different vehicles. If you haul family and gear and have a need for security, then the Sequoia is for you. If you are after a vehicle for light hauling and around town usage, then the Ridgeline is the choice. The Ridgeline is unibody construction and the Sequoia is body on frame.

Personally, I am not impressed with the Ridgeline, it strikes me as an Accord platform with truck body attached to it.

If you are after a SUV that kind of follows the Ridgeline in construction, then consider the Highlander.

Light hauling and around town usage. Mainly construction materials etc. No boat to tow, no trailer (but may use a trailer from time to time.

Had an 95 GMC Jimmy that we loved, but my wife put an end to that with a corkscrew rollover.

It's really just a bigger, uglier CR-V.

I thought that was the Pilot. Pilot is on my list as well.

The pilot and Ridgeline share a common platform. Same fugly upside-down bathtub look, same engine, same driveline.

If you're looking for an economical around town car that can occasionally crawl over a mole hill, then they're good, but they're not actual 4WD vehicles, you have no control over the engagement of the rear axle, it engages when the car feels like it.
I think that's crap, I want my t-case engaged to prevent getting into trouble, I don't want to wait for a computer to go "oh, s***, I should have prevented that" to engage.
