I posted on a Honda Pilot site I belong to but I think this question is too specific. I have a 2010 Pilot and need to replace one bulb socket associated with the rear tail light. The Honda parts diagrams I have access to do not show this as a separate part as it is wired into a tail light wiring harness ($90). I can find generic sockets on eBay and Amazon but these don’t have the same lock tab configuration.

Does anyone know who manufactures these bulb sockets or what I might do? Thanks.

The socket I need is for the side marker light that is integrated into the rear tail light assembly. It uses a 12V 5W bulb with a wedge type connection. I believe it is a T10 socket. The bulbs I ordered are Sylvania 2825 LL. This socket is wired directly into a tail light wiring harness sub-assembly and the socket twist-locks into the tail light assembly. The socket has three asymmetric tabs.

I have a Toyota wiring harness repair manual that has a large collection of individual plugs and sockets with Toyota part numbers. I have also found that BMW offers most electrical connectors as separate parts as well as pigtails with the male and female pins. I guess I'm looking for something similar from the Honda organization.

Thanks.
