Well thought it was time to check in. Still up here and its been snowing the last few days....
The 40 is in the garage for the winter now. I was able to find a 1975 MI plate and got a non expiring registration for it. Good until I sell or scrap it out. MI has an authentic plate program similar to antique plates in most other states, but I only had the pay the DMV here 38 bucks and thats it for life. Pretty good deal.
I did about 50 miles this year. woot woot. 5 trips to the car wash included.....
Jims carb work is top notch. Fires right up and I love it. Thanks again Jim your the man.
Boss was in from Columbus today. Mentioned a job that doesn't exist right now and isn't staffed yet, but maybe in a year he would need someone to run it...........
Female unit said Cbus is the only place she would really want to go back to from having previously relocated from. English majors are all show offs.
At any rate I hope everyone is well, employed, and staying warm. Its pretty ugly up here on all of those fronts. Its pretty bad when you have to weld down man hole covers so they dont get stolen and turned in for scrap.
I will be in town on the 9th for a meeting then heading back home. no time really for burgers or Quaker steak. but maybe next time. 8 hr ride for a 45 minute presentation. go figure.
Stay classy.
