Hoist help!!!!

My friend has a 2 post hoist, Not not sure the make but its blue,( can take a pic if it mite help). Any how he took it down to move and then put it up at his new place and now it only goes up on one side, it worked good before.
It is a hydraulic hoist with a cylinder on each side, i tried to open the bleeder on the far side and with it open it still only goes up on one side.

Any how. If any one has had a problem like this or mite know whats wrong ,it would help me alot.

Got air in it.

Keep bleeding it.

Blue could be just about anything. My blue ones are Rotary

yea i think he said it was a rotary hoist. i couldnt remember what he said..

Thats what i was trying to do with the bleeder. but the one side kept going up. wouldnt opening the bleeder on the far post from the pump make nothing go up and just bleed the air out???

When i do that it acts the same as with the bleeder close.( and nothing comes out of bleeder when its open.

Is there some interlock along the way preventing the flow to that side?

there is a ball valve. but when i switch it nothing changes... its really werid. still one side goes up
