-----SOLD----

I need to start welding aluminum and my choices are to:

1. Buy a $400 spool gun and kit to use on my current awesome welder that's always done what I asked it to do. (low hours)
2. Buy the Hobart 190 welder that comes with the spool and try to sell my reliable 180 and try to break even ..... if even = still spending $450.

#2 is basic cruiser math and make the most since.

I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Or check out CL for an older transformer ac/dc welder which is the route I am looking into.

Great idea Youngjoonni, but more gear I need not. I love my 180 and an upgrade to a 190 keeps things compact 4 me, I'm short on space.

Gas tank NOT included nor is the large spool of wire in photos. For sale is the welder with gun and gauges that connect to gas tank if you want to use gas. I found the flux wire that does not require gas to work pretty good with metal that is not new.

I'm going into the jungle that is CL late next week with this item, but local cruisers get a first look as CL peeps is some crazy ass peeps.

Requires 220v so if u think you only have 110v check out your cloth dryer, if electric it may be 220, and if your oven is electric, it may also be 220v, Many of high school days I ran thick cords from my parents kitchen out to the garage to weld....lol.
