HJ75 Air con compressor

Hi, got an old ute '89 HJ75 and the compressor for the air-conditioner has died. Any suggestions as to where I can get one. A new one is $616 and that is a bit costly at the moment. Cheers

They rebuild them for $350 with a 12/12 warranty.
Lots of used ones around ,I think a FJ7* is the same. I got one from a aircon shop that had a box of low klm used compressors from Japan.
There are Japanese cars that use an identical unit but need the clutch changed over.
Not sure which car it was,maybe a Cressida or Crown

Thanks for that, will look into it. Heard of a place I can get a second hand one for 220. Tomorrow promises to be a busy one.
