I'm confused on what constitutes a hijack of a thread...
The original poster posts a picture of his new bumper....someone then asks about...say..his tires for instance...he then apologizes for hijacking the thread??? I don't understand this...

I've seen some threads morph into something way off from what the original poster intended, but thats the only thing I can maybe understand with the hijacking...

If I post a question about something and someone has the same problem and jumps in on the thread wanting help with his problem too It seems that is considered a hijack...Wouldnt it just be more info for both of us trying to fix our problem? Or does it just confuse the situation?

Just an ocd kinda day folks....:)

yeeesh....lol

keeping a thread on one topic makes searching easier....hyjacking makes following the original issue more diffucult....happens a lot, but best to start a new thread...

otherwise, we'd just have one thread per vehicle model with all the tech interspersed in there ;)

That makes sense...but speaking of searches...shouldnt the thread subjects be more specific to the thread?

Like - '65 FJ40 instead of - my new toy

I find myself going crazy trying to find things searching sometimes...

(ok is this a hyjack?)

good hyjack :p

thread titles are nice....but getting folks to do that is impossible....just gotta be more creative with your search techniques ;)
