After I performed some trail modifications in Harlan, it became time to replace my TRD exhaust with something else. I really can't complain. It has survived 3 trips to Moab, one trip on the Rubicon, 2 to Harlan and countless other trails in URE. Yes, it had become a bit ovalized through all those trips, but it was still intact.
That is until I went up a trail in Harlan (Making Time) that was over my FJC's head with the wet/slippery conditions, yes, the big rocks might have had something to do with it also. Once it became clear I would be pulling cable for the next 100 yards, I opted to cut my losses and turn around. That caused just a minor hang up with the exhaust...
Causing this minor impingement of exhaust flow...
I drove it off the trail to the main trail, I don't know how it ran. Then it just took a bit of back and forth to get it to break off.
All leading to this...
That should keep things a bit out of the way and I probably lost 50 lbs removing that stock muffler for the Flowmaster...
