I know, but as a forum admin/owner, I do not like to post bigger pics than 800x600, and my pics above are 1024x768, kind of big for some that may be running smaller than a 19" screen.

I would advise against mounting the High-Lift to the exterior of the roof rack, as it is more likely to catch on things. As already stated we used one High-Lift mount on the rear cross rail and a bolt and bushing on the front cross rail. This locates the jack inboard and therfore away from getting hung up on things. Because the cross rails are adjustable this mounting system will accomodate both 48" and 60" jacks. Simply step on the rear tire to gain access. Although, I must admit, the A-Trac works so well that I have not had to use the High-Lift yet. Of course now I just jynxed myself and will most surely have to use it when I see Tim in Tellico!

The FJ trail teams setup is real clean looking and easy to do. But when I load up the family and dog I need all the space I can get on the roof rack for camping gear. Also I wheel in Colorado and Moab so Nether place has many trees to snag on.

Pictures please...I have no imagination.

I don't really have a good picture of the mounting, and it won't let me upload. Sorry

Ok, so the Hi-Lift mount attaches to the rear crossbar with a clamp? bolt? What brand of mount? The front attaches with a bolt/bushing. Did you drill a hole through the rail? and then through what part of the lift? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to visualize cause I like your idea.

The rear is a high lift mount that is bolted to the rack. The front is a bolt that is placed through a hole in the cross piece of the rack and then through one of the holes in the jack.
