Finally did it. New to me '94 fzj80. New to TLCs, not off-roading. Owned 2 piles of jeep. One '88 AMC (yeah, AMC) YJ that I built from stock to a very nice crawler. 6 years later, we couldn't afford to go off-roading with it, anymore, so it sold. Wife's pile of 2001 XJ was actually a bigger money pit & never saw a gravel road, let alone a trail. It left Saturday & Sunday, our well used FJ came home. I had a tight budget (not to mention a tight ass) & the fzj, a new windshield, complete new exhaust from ex. manifold back, including new cats, tax & license, brought it home with tags for just over $3500. It's had a hard life, but there's a good group of Cruiser guys in our town that I gleaned some good advise from. Thanks, Thad & Marty. I guess now the fun begins. Flame away.

Just copied & pasted from Mud, but still pretty excited. It has all the manuals etc. from original sale, tool kit, 3rd row seats & a lot of hard knocks. But it was plenty cheap & runs & drives great.

Nice work! Now we get to start working on it. I think you will like it a lot.

Welcome to the addiction.

It will only take a few weeks and you will be hooked by the unmatched reliability and performance of your lc. I had a '94 with 280K miles and never had any problems with it.

Congrats on the buy!!!

Still is from an areal view

O', You know me so well.:p

Roof is a little faded. If it doesn't buff out, it's probably going to be white above the rain gutters. Not positive, but always liked that look & it makes the a/c work less.

Welcome to the Cruiser World and your new addiction.

Dark Green seems to be a popular color. You will love it and the Wheeling will impress you for a bone stock rig. I still have my 1978 CJ5 that I bought in 1983 but when I go wheeling I'm in a Cruiser. I use it as a Spring time convertable.
