Thanks guys I briefly ran through Bham and stopped by Matt's to pick up a very sturdy clutch pedal bracket, only the second known one for an 80 in the US. I really wanted to take his 80 around the block and see how the 4spd and 37's felt but my wife had just worked a 14 hr shift and was asleep in the back of the van so that stop was a lot briefer than I would have liked.
In my way back I got to stop by the little house on the plains and visit with Eric for a sec. Next time I'll just leave my kids with him and the wife and I will go out and have diner at Mama G's. Thanks to both of you for the parts they should be going in this weekend.

beautiful!
you may have to grind a spot in the back middle of that top piece, looking at the picture reminded me of that on mine for some reason. I think I may have moved the holes down a hair on yours to make up for it but don't remember exactly. IIRC there is a ridge on the top of the pedal and it contacted it a little.
I hung it up in the tree this afternoon and put a quick coat of spray paint on it. After that I test fitted it and tried to get a handle on what I needed to cut away/remove to install the bracket. From the looks of it will fall right into place.
good to hear. I also had to bend the 60 pedal arm - but I'm sure you saw that in the other thread. you shouldn't need to cut anything on the truck - just drill the four holes.

I got the pedal bucket in and it lines up nice. The pedal does need to be bent forward, which I haven't done. Right now everything's hanging out waiting to be done up right. Here's what I have right now.

Wow I didnt realize how bad those pics are until I actually looked at them. I will take some more this afternoon after work and give a better description for those who never get under the dash and look around.
