Help with rear entertainment system (1 Viewer)

We've purchased a Landcruiser Sahara. I really don't want to go back to DVDs in the car. Can anyone help me out - can I put movies on a usb or connect ipad to screen via hdmi chord or what? I have all my movies on an external hard drive. Can this connect any way to the rear system? Anything but DVDs in the car as they just get scratched!!

Probably not. There are a range of aftermarket options. If I recall @LALC has a roku or something to use content from a phone/tablet... Or you CAn Get one of the aftermarket HU that are on the market recently.
