I am completely confused by what Fuse size I should be using on my setup here. I'm not going larger than 1/0 cable for my dual battery setup, as that is the same size as the cable from the winch to the battery.
With that said, it looks like 1/0 cable can only handle 285 amps, or 427 amps for 500 seconds (1.5x of max amps). Can I get away with 300 amp fuses, which at 1.5x = 450 amps for 500 seconds, which equals my max TJM winch draw at 15K of line pull. I'm just worried that my 1/0 cables could catch fire lol. But, since the cable that came with the winch is only 1/0... I should be ok right?
Ps. My ANL fuse holders are 300 amp maximum.
