I have been harboring a lost dog for the last 3+ weeks and have not been able to find her owner. I refuse to take her to the shelter because I hear there is a lot of disease there right now, plus this dog is just too sweet to risk euthanasia. Please help me find her a home!
She is some sort of hound/terrier mix, at least that is my best estimate. I guess she’s about a year old. She has been staying in my fenced yard with an insulated kennel and does not complain, although she does relish in any attention you give her. She seems VERY healthy and is quite loving, but she does jump up on you quite a bit. I have been working on that and it’s getting better. Please help me place her with a loving home as soon as possible, since my wife is growing impatient with having an extra dog to contend with.
I can provide a "start up kit" for a new owner with some food, bowls, collar and leash. If you can't take her, please pass this along to anyone you may know that would be interested.
I can bring her to URE on 12/6, or try and work out a meet for anyone down south (I'm in Raleigh).
Thanks!
Ramon
