The name is not exactly the same but it is still to close for comfort.
If I were you, I would just load an avatar and not worry about it. BEE-JAY and beejay aren't likely to be too confusing, with one all caps, and the other not. Once there is something visual to set yourself apart, no issue at all.
FWIW, the owner of the forum (woody) has to put up with names close to his (woodsy, woody2, woodeye, woooody,....).
