I am in the middle of replacing my starter contacts on my 1999 LC, I have just taken off the intake manifold and realized that I have kinked the rubber section of the fuel line that has < DO NOT KINK > all up and down it. I disconnected the line from the filter and pulled the line with the intake kinking the hose, it feels as if it has some type of hard plastic tube inside the rubber tube. It still feels like it is somewhat oval now on the inside of the line, it seems as if it will restrict fuel flow maybe about 20% to 40%, will this be to much . I have ordered another line which will have to come from a depo and take about a week for me to get. Also what is the correct way to remove this line from the fuel rail on the intake?

I doubt very much it being oval a bit would reduce flow by 30%.
The label may be more about issues of there being some damage to the liner which may be prejudicial in the future.

I got the cruiser put back together, it runs fine I am still going to replace the fuel line just to be on the safe side. After I removed the intake manifold I could see how the fuel line attaches to the fuel rail on the intake, it has hex head wrench flats under the little dome shaped device that I did not initially see, I took a 22mm opened end wrench and removed it there to put the intake back on to prevent further damage of the fuel line.
