Been trying to find an aftermarket replacement drivers side window switch assembly. Mine has a single connector (100 Series uzj 2004). Switches on mine are very iffy - goes full down or full up but stopping halfway is a total lottery.
Now it seems earlier models had TWO connectors on the window switch. I can find genuine (and rather expensive) OEM with single connectors which cheapest option here seems to be $500+++ (Saw one at $900!). As far as aftermarket, I've scoured the usual places but can only find parts with double connecter *PARP* wrong, won't fit.
Part code I think is 84040 60081 (master door switch RH side) but the last two digits on my part have worn off..... But I think it's right.
I've been to wreckers but it's very hit and miss. OK, fully miss so far. Not sure why the pre 2002 100 series switches have two connectors, or why these are so easy to find compared to the 2002-2007 single connector version. But it's starting to do my head in now.
