Howdy Folks,

I am new to IH8MUD. I recently met a nice gentleman in The Village who had a 1986 Land Cruiser, though I forget his name. Although I am familiar with this site, I haven't been here much. I've mainly been in the FJCruiserForums site. I'm looking forward to getting to know a new group of people.

Mike

Here's my rig
2007 Voodoo Blue FJ Cruiser
3" Pro Comp lift
Ricochet Skids
ARB Recovery Bumper
Viper Winch

My First Car was a 1982 FJ-40....I miss it

The group is more active on the mailing list than on the forum, though several attempts have been made to try to migrate peoople - you know, old dogs and all :)

Welcome though - hope to see you at a meeting or off-road soon. Sounds like you have a nice FJcruiser there.

I'm a new guy too, been in Tulsa for 2 months now. I just joined TLCA and am waiting for my member # before joining GCC.

welcome!

Eagle, where do you go wheeling around T-Town?

Most popular place is Disney.

Used to be a smaller area at Gamp Gruber, but I hear it was shut down and haven't had an opportunity to validate that.

There is an off-road area below Keystone dam - lots of sand and mostly ATV's and Motorcycles there.

There is one that is illegal as far as I know - Chandler Park - but I've never been there.

There is D-day adventure park, which I've not been to yet.

Rock Stomp | D-Day Adventure Park

A little further away is SMORR, Superlift, Flat-nasty, Clayton, There is one or two that have opened up near Eureeka.

K-trail is a long county road/trail that runs from Clayton all the way to Arkansas, one that I've been wanting to run for some time.

There are guys that post up various spots on Tulsaoffroad.com

Thanks! Great list. Anyone up for a Disney day run February 18th?

There is going to be a GCC meeting the 18th in AR w/ some playing around WRM - White Rock Mountain. E-mail Dave Stinchcomb on the e-mail list for details.

If you do ever want someone to wheel with, post up here though, and email the yahoo group mailing list. I'm always up for a run if I can break free - though 80% of the time I have my kids bouncing around in the back seat.

Ok will do. Nothing wrong with bringing the family! I don't have any kids yet, hope to one day and bring them along.
