Hello everyone,

Hello again,

Welcome! Im a new fellar' here too. There is a lot of information here that is a little different than over in the other forum. I like them both.

Welcome both of you and the more the merrier. Hopefully this will increase the traffic on the fj section

Can I start off by asking what I need to fit 35's on my truck that will work with a Westin brushguard to use for hardcore rockcrawling down in FL?

You'll need some Westin running boards first off, to match, then you've got to find a nice set of 20's to mount those 35's onto. Then, all you'll need is some wheel spacers (probably 1.5"), don't worry about the body mount chop with the spacers.

I'm sure you'll be able to find a nice set of spacers that will lift the rig enough to squeeze the 35's on. In fact, a friend of a friend's brother's sister-in-law's cousin's dog made some out of left over kitchen countertop material. Some epoxy, clamps and drilling some holes and he had a nice set of Corian lift spacers.

Don't forget to find the widest 35" tire you can, it will make it that much easier for steering when extreme rock KRAWLIN. And, you don't need to worry about the 35's slowing you down, the innovative Toyota designers put PFM (Pure Friggen Magik) gears into the differentials that automatically adapt to whatever tire is put on and keeps the engine working in the perfect RPM's at all times.

Don't worry about upgrading your brakes or steering parts, Toyota will cover any wear or damage under the factory warranty because they designed the FJC to be able to handle such enhancements. Just be sure to post up pics of the adventures... :hillbilly:

Thats great info MTB! But in all seriousness, your build is great and I definitely hope to learn a thing or two from you.
