Hella 4000s or fake Hella HID Retrofit.

So the plan is to buy a HDJ81 in the fall when all my DFO work is done. Currently i am working at an Acklands Grainger and I get pretty good deals on Hella stuff. I $121 for a hella 4000.
Since i am only working there for another 3 weeks i still get staff pricing and i thought it would be a great time to jump on a good deal for an fall install.

The other idea is to take the hellas my dad just offered me and retrofit a $70 4300k HID kit.

So $242 vs $70

HID's are very, very bright and will give huge amounts of light and a low power draw. Go for a 50W HID set. Just replaced my inner high beams with 50W HID's and it's amazing.

I have that same mod. I love it, sooo much brighter than using halogens.

Yeah, if you're not going to be flashing or turning them on and off often, I would definitely do the HID mod.

I have Hid's and they rock! Some of the guys here dont like them because they are blinding. I have never had any issues with people flashing me because they are too bright. The 4300K are your best bet because they are the whiter of the lights.
