I’m sure you can find something closer if you do some searching 😉

Appreciate it! Yeah I’ve trying. Reached out to two close to me and they must not want my money I guess.

I almost forgot! The wife surprised me with some CruiserCorps front seat covers for Christmas! I think she has finally accepted the 40 into the family. What do y’all think?

Sweet. I got the same present from myself for Xmas.
I agree! Love the color. Any local upholsterer recommendations? Just need the foam really. Although it would be nice to have someone do upholster the seats for me.
You can buy the foams from Spector Offroad:

Or you can fabricate your own, based on some resources here:

I'm just going to buy new foams from SOR. By the time I buy the materials and fart around with it, easier to just buy something known to fit.

Yeah I’ve been eyeballing the sor foam for a while. It’s really the shipping cost that pisses me off. I’ve been thinking/hoping it might be more cost effective to take them somewhere local.

Many of us share the same feelings about SOR. I'm building a list of items I absolutely cannot get elsewhere and will make a one time purchase and move on with my life. My free time outside of work is valuable, not worth trying to build foam only to be pissed off and unhappy with the results with no one to blame but myself!.

Agreed on all counts. I just went for the sor foam. $122 in shipping. 🤬

Wholly F. I wasn't aware it was that bad. Thats assault!

Indeed. Highway robbery.

I’ve done those seat covers, not terrible if you get some good hog ring pliers 😉
That’s what I needed to hear. I think my cousin has some pliers. Is it just the foam that’s hog ringed on?

Attempting to connect all of the turn signal wires and I’ve got one that I can’t quite figure out. It appears to be the wire to the left indicator on the dash but I’m not sure where it connects. Right dash indicator works fine. Please excuse the crappy overspray white paint from a PO.

That’s a GR wire, right? I think it double plugs with the other GR wire like the GY wires do. I think 😆 it’s been a while since I was in mine.

I’ll give that a shot, thanks! It’s hard to tell some of the wires apart due to that overspray.

GOOOO …. not GRRRRRRR 😂

You should see a double-plug fitting where it plugs into.

A slightly bigger update:

This seat was absolutely nasty inside. Rust was much worse that I thought it would be. Almost all of the interconnecting springs were rotten. I found some springs at the hardware store that may work. I knocked loose most of the rust and hit it all with rust converter. Oh and 3/6 bolts snapped off. Yay me!

No worries. I’m used to it by now. 😂

Open to any advice on broken bolt removal. I have not yet perfected that art.
