Tracy was contacted by Hefty Fab via Instagram to invite CLC members to their open house this Friday, 9/12/25, at 6 PM. See attached photo of their flyer.
I do business at a powder coating shop next door to Hefty Fab and last fall I decided to walk over to their shop, introduce myself, and see what they’re up to. They are really nice people and they gave me a tour of their shop and showed me some of their current projects. They emphasized that they are working with Toyotas, not just Jeeps.
They have a large X-Y table laser cutting system and other impressive fabrication tools. They had an FJ 80 cruiser in the shop and had fabbed an extreme travel coil over suspension for it.
I’ve not personally done business with them, but noted that it is an impressive shop and they seem eager to engage with the customer.
