My heatriser is stuck in I think the closed position where exhaust gas is directed toward the intake manifold. After a lot of wiggling I got it to move a little bit. maybe a 1/8 of a turn. How far should the shaft turn from full on to full off? What direction should it turn to be in the warmed up, no heat from the exhaust to intake position? Clockwise or couterclockwise looking at the spring from the front of the vehicle? I'm hoping this cures my mid-throttle hesitation by not super heating the incoming air and cooking my carb. By the way this is a `87 FJ60. Thank you!
