2010 200 series with 230,000 on the clock. My wife was driving the 200 today and when she was maybe a mile or less from house the check vsc system message appeared along with the abs warning. The air conditioning immediately started blowing hot also. When she parked it at the house she said she could hear a gurgling sound from under the hood. I got home about a hour later and popped the hood and immediately noticed coolant splatter. Looked around and found one of the heater t’s had broken loose. Checked the radiator and overflow, overflow is empty and I can’t see any coolant in the radiator but don’t know if it’s bone dry or not yet. Unfortunately she didn’t check the temp gauge so I don’t know if it actually overheated but with the AC cutting out the temp had to have gone up. Won’t know how much damage there is until I replace the T and fill back up with coolant. Hopefully we avoided and bad damage.

Sorry to hear, hopefully nothing got too hot.
I replaced the Ts on mine with metal back a few years ago, and found some browning of the plastic, which generally is a sign of it aging and getting brittle. I think as more of these trucks get on up in mileage, replacing the heater Ts as preventative maintenance will become a popular thing to do, just as it is in the 100 series.
