hi board, i have a 93 LC & notice a lot of heat coming from the floor board. mainly from the passenger side. any suggestions?

check out the exhaust pipe and make sure the heat shields are still in place.

some Quality Heat Shield will REALLY drop the temps, just pull the carpet and install it.

I had the same problem with the '94 I used to own. Think it has to do with the side-by-side cats under the passenger side floor board. Heat shield should do the trick.

I get the same thing in my 93, especially on long drives in wet weather. Lately I have found out my cats are no longer functioning and may not have been for some time. Don't know if it might be related.
